In Ann Arbor, summer is full of events! Top of the Park, Art Fair, Summer Festival, etc., but what about fall?
In October there’s the Halloween Farmer’s Market in Kerrytown. Bring the kids that Saturday for trick-or-treating with the local vendors. They also have pumpkin carving! Sunday the Artisan’s Market & Kerrytown Shops have a kid costume parade with haystacks and stories, AND a treasure hunt! Also in Kerrytown, the Spice Merchants will have pumpkin dip & ginger cookies out Oct. 23 from 12-2. Hollanders School of Paper & Arts has many unique classes held the rest of the month- Letterpress Printing, journaling, Collage Techniques, & Paper Marbling.
And in November Ann Arbor holds the Jewish Book Fest at the Jewish Community Center. Have “Lunch and Learn” and shop the books for sale. It’s film counterpart is held mid-May. Nov. 13th Michigan A Cappella Fest (MACFest) will be at Rackham Auditorium doing a showcase of all 15 UM a’cappella groups.

Many locals frequent this 10,000 square foot, non-profit resale store on Industrial Blvd., as all the proceeds benefit the Ann Arbor Public Schools‘ student programs.
